Drilling Continues to Intercept Antimony at Coonambula
Key Points
  • Visual antimony mineralisation intersected in holes CNDD002 & CNDD003
  • Massive stibnite veining and disseminated stibnite in quartz veins along major structures
  • Assay results expected in November
Full Summary

Dart Mining NL (ASX:DTM) is pleased to announce ongoing drilling success at the Coonambula Antimony-Gold Project located in Central Queensland. The project is a Farm-In Joint Venture agreement with Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM). Drilling has continued to progress rapidly at Coonambula, with all holes to date intersecting antimony mineralisation in line with interpretation. Antimony mineralisation is presenting as massive stibnite veining, with proximal disseminated stibnite in laminated quartz veins along major structures. The first hole, CBADD001, intersected 0.6m of massive sulphide observed to be approximately 70% Stibnite at 42m, and a second zone of stibnite massive sulphide veining at 70m downhole. The second and third holes, CBADD002 and CBADD003, have also intersected significant antimony mineralisation, with visual estimates indicating 1.4m at 5% Stibnite, including 0.3m at 80% Stibnite, and approximately 1.1m at 25% Stibnite, including 0.2m at 95% Stibnite, respectively. Assay results are expected to be returned in November.

Outlook

Dart Mining will progress farm-in exploration at Coonambula, including completing and interpreting IP survey results, continuing to drill and test the Banshee Antimony-gold trend, conducting channel sampling, refining the drill plan, and developing a 3D model of the Banshee mineralisation with the potential to declare a JORC (2012) Resource.
