Kingfisher Mining Limited (ASX:KFM) has announced the appointment of Mr. Chris Bittar as the company's new Managing Director. Bittar is a geologist with over 15 years of experience in the resources sector, both within Australia and internationally, across multiple commodities. He has a strong background in resource development and exploration, with a focus on systematically advancing projects through critical investment milestones, from early-stage discovery to achieving commercial viability. Bittar has previously held roles as Exploration Manager at Auking Mining (AKN.ASX) and was a senior member of the exploration and resource development team at Pantoro Gold (PNR.ASX). He holds a Master of Finance with Distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a Master of Geoscience from Macquarie University. Current Non-Executive Chairman, Scott Huffadine, commented that Bittar's technical and hands-on approach will be critical as the company unlocks the value in its recently acquired NSW copper, silver and base metal portfolio, and continues to advance its Rare Earth prospects in Western Australia. Bittar's appointment marks a significant milestone for Kingfisher Mining as the company enters a period of exciting growth.
