Future Battery Minerals Ltd Secures Option to Acquire Randalls Gold Project
- Randalls comprises six tenements covering over 620km2 of highly prospective Archaean greenstone, sediments and Banded Iron Formations
- Located near established and profitable gold mines, with excellent access to processing plants
- Complementary to FBM's Coolgardie Gold and Lithium Project, expanding its landholding in the W.A. Goldfields
Future Battery Minerals Ltd (ASX: FBM) has entered into a binding agreement with Miramar Resources under which Miramar has granted FBM an exclusive 6-month option to acquire 100% ownership of the Randalls Gold Project, located approximately 65 km east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The Randalls Project comprises six tenements, including one granted Exploration Licence and five Exploration Licence Applications, covering over 620km2 of highly prospective Archaean greenstone, sediments and Banded Iron Formations. The project is located within 50 km of several long-established and highly profitable operating gold mines, including Vault Minerals' Mount Monger Operations, and is readily accessible via public infrastructure. FBM plans to undertake a range of due diligence activities during the option period, including detailed data compilation, magnetic geophysical interpretation, and review of existing surface geochemical sampling results. The Randalls acquisition would complement FBM's existing Coolgardie Gold and Lithium Project, expanding its 100%-owned landholding across the W.A. Goldfields to approximately 695km2. FBM remains well-funded to undertake its planned exploration activities, with a strong cash balance of A$6.4 million and zero debt as of 30 June 2025.
FBM plans to undertake target generative activities as part of its due diligence on Randalls, including reviewing and validating historical gold exploration drilling data, conducting litho-magnetic geophysical review, and collating and reviewing surface geochemical data. FBM will also negotiate a Heritage Protection Agreement with relevant Native Title Parties for the tenement applications.
