Rent.com.Au Doubles Recurring Revenues, RentBond Accelerates
- Strong volume growth in RentBond loans, exceeding $1 million per month
- New RentBond loans generating ~6x the lifetime revenue of the prior model
- Early RentBond results underpin goal to double monthly revenue and reach profitability
Rent.com.Au Limited (ASX: RNT), Australia's leading platform for renters, has provided an update on the successful rollout of its RentBond product. In the past month, the company has seen more than $1 million in new RentBond loans funded, demonstrating strong volume growth. Since launch, over $2 million of RentBond loans have been funded, with volumes growing strongly. The new RentBond loans are generating approximately 6 times the lifetime revenue of the prior model, highlighting the strength and scalability of the product. This early traction underpins Rent.com.Au's goal to double its monthly revenue as it drives towards Group profitability. The cash receipts from RentBond customers, currently around $200,000 per month, can be reinvested into both new RentBond loans and working capital needs. Alongside the growth in RentBond, Rent.com.Au has also seen a 106% increase in its recurring revenue compared to the September 2024 quarter, with recurring revenue now representing 47% of total Group Revenue. The company remains on track to have more than 70% of Group Revenue from recurring sources by the end of FY26. The early success of RentBond, along with broader positive performance, positions Rent.com.Au to deliver long-term, sustainable value for shareholders.
The company expects to receive a third tranche of $1.5 million from its $10 million funding facility with the Eldium Income Fund, which would bring the total drawn to $4.1 million. This further utilisation underscores the growing popularity and demand for the RentBond product.
Rent.com.Au is confident in its ability to double its monthly revenue as it drives towards Group profitability and positive cashflow, driven by the strong performance of the RentBond product and growth in other recurring revenue streams such as RentPay and the Core Logic data subscription.
