Dusk Group Ltd Provides 2025 AGM Update
- Returned to growth across key financial metrics in FY25
- Implemented growth strategies to reinvigorate brand and execute business rejuvenation
- Launched new store concept 'AfterGlow' with positive early results
Dusk Group Ltd (ASX:DSK) held its 2025 Annual General Meeting, where the Chair and CEO provided an overview of the company's performance in the 2025 financial year and outlined the strategic priorities for FY26. The 2025 financial year was an important period for Dusk as the company returned to growth across all key financial metrics. Under the leadership of CEO Vlad Yakubson, Dusk implemented growth strategies to reinvigorate the brand and have been encouraged by the successful execution of the first phase of their business rejuvenation. Key highlights from FY25 include an 8.7% increase in total sales to $137.8m, a 7.5% increase in Gross Profit to $87.7m, and a 22.9% increase in Underlying EBIT to $7.7m. The company also continued to optimize its store portfolio, with 150 stores at the end of FY25 including two online stores. Dusk's focus in FY26 will be on several key areas, including resetting the culture of the store team, rejuvenating and expanding the core product range, aligning marketing and product to attract younger and unisex customers, and continuing to invest in digital capabilities. The company has also launched a new store concept called 'AfterGlow', which has delivered encouraging early results with a 25% increase in total sales and a 32% increase in member sales at the initial trial stores.
For the first 16 weeks of FY26, total sales were up 0.4% on the prior corresponding period. Excluding the impact of successful product collaborations in the prior year, underlying sales for the 16-week period were up 13.1% on the prior corresponding period. Gross margin is in line with internal expectations as the company manages the exit of the old Signature product range.
Dusk is well prepared for the key Christmas trading period with new and innovative product ranges to be launched in the coming weeks. The company plans to open four new stores and close one store in the first half of FY26, and open two stores and close seven underperforming stores in the second half. The company expects to accelerate plans to refurbish its top stores with the 'AfterGlow' concept pending the results over the Christmas trading period.
