FY2026 Quarter 1 EKJV Exploration Report
Key Points
  • 671 metres of drilling completed, including diamond drilling at Sadler and resource targeting at Ambition
  • Drilling at Sadler supports geological model and potential for resource extension
  • Drilling at Ambition intersects high-grade mineralisation, with a southward-plunging zone identified as a new target area
Full Summary

During the first quarter of FY26, a total of 671 metres of drilling was completed for the East Kundana Joint Venture (EKJV). Work completed included Diamond Drilling (DD) for the Sadler underground and Resource targeting RC and DD at Ambition. At the Sadler prospect, surface diamond drilling commenced to test potential southerly extensions of the Sadler mineralisation. The drilling intersected a brittle-ductile structure consistent with the mineralisation currently being mined, supporting the geological model and the potential for resource extension. An additional 1,054 metres of diamond drilling is scheduled for Q2 FY26. At the Ambition prospect, all assay results from the previous quarter's drilling were received and reviewed. The drilling intersected the Strezlecki lode consistently over a 500-metre strike length, with results suggesting the presence of a southward-plunging high-grade zone, which may represent a new target area for future drilling. Significant intercepts included 0.6m @ 15.09g/t Au, 0.68m @ 8.31g/t Au, and 0.4m @ 7.82g/t Au.

Outlook

For the Sadler prospect, the remaining 1,054 metres of diamond drilling is scheduled for completion in Q2 FY26, with pending assay results to inform further targeting and potential expansion of the current mineral resource. For the Ambition Prospect, assay results received this quarter will be incorporated into an updated geological and resource model, and interpretation of the emerging high-grade, southward-plunging zone will guide the design of future drilling.
