Adavale Resources Ltd (ASX:ADD) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Ward, currently the Non-Executive Technical Director, as the company's new Managing Director effective from November 17, 2025. David Ward is a seasoned geologist and mining executive with 30 years of experience spanning early-stage exploration, project development, and both open pit and underground mining operations. Throughout his career, Ward has demonstrated a strong commercial focus and a proven ability to drive value creation through disciplined exploration and development strategies. Ward's extensive experience across the Lachlan Fold Belt will be pivotal as Adavale rapidly advances exploration and drill programs across its flagship Parkes Gold-Copper Project. Ward's Lachlan Fold Belt experience encompasses roles at Hargraves Resources (the last operator of the London-Victoria Gold Mine), Newcrest Mining's Cadia Gold Mine, Clancy Exploration's porphyry Au-Cu exploration, and various other projects in the Cobar District, Girilambone Group, and Wagga Tin Belt. Ward was also instrumental in defining ~950koz Au for Bacchus Resources and founding director of what is now Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM). The Board welcomes Ward to his new role and looks forward to his leadership as Adavale advances its exploration and development portfolio.
Adavale's focus will be targeting resource expansion activities at the brownfields London-Victoria Gold Mine and rapidly advancing high-priority targets at Ashes and Myalls. The company looks forward to executing on its ambitious growth plans and leading the upcoming drilling programs under the new Managing Director, David Ward.
