Centaurus Metals has acquired the Rio Novo Copper-Gold Project, located immediately north of the company's Boi Novo Project in the world-class Carajás Mineral Province of northern Brazil. The 40km² Rio Novo Project is fully licensed for exploration, and prior drilling by the vendor has returned promising copper-gold intersections, including 2.4m @ 4.08% Cu and 0.25g/t Au, 4.1m @ 0.87% Cu and 2.29g/t Au, and 13.7m @ 0.32% Cu and 0.73g/t Au. Importantly, more than 65% of the Rio Novo tenement remains unexplored, offering Centaurus significant upside potential. The combined Boi Novo-Rio Novo landholding now covers approximately 75km² in the Carajás, a region renowned for its rich deposits of copper, gold, and other minerals. Centaurus will immediately commence a targeted exploration program at Rio Novo, integrating it with ongoing work at Boi Novo.
