- Maiden 858m drilling program completed at Fiery Creek Copper Project, Mt Isa, Queensland with high-grade copper intersections
- Independent review identifies Heavy Mineral Sands potential at Wilan Project, Eromanga Basin, South Australia
- New priority drill-ready gold and copper targets identified at Saltwater Project, Pilbara, Western Australia
Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX: AAJ) has reported on its activities for the quarter ended 30 September 2025. Key highlights include:- Maiden 858m drilling program completed at the Fiery Creek Copper Project in the Mt Isa region of Queensland, returning high-grade copper intersections up to 1.67% Cu. The drilling targeted anomalous copper mineralization below enriched supergene high-grade surface samples, coincident with two high-impact Induced Polarization (IP) conductors.- An independent technical review identified the potential for Heavy Mineral Sands (HMS) mineralization within the Wilan Project in the Eromanga Basin, South Australia. The review found that the sedimentary units known to host HMS deposits in the region are also present within the Wilan tenure.- New priority drill-ready gold and copper targets were defined at the Tunnel Creek Prospect within the Saltwater Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, based on a review of historical exploration by previous owner Fortescue Metals Group.Corporately, the company received firm commitments for a $3.515 million placement to facilitate the continuation of targeted exploration across its core projects. The funds will strengthen Aruma's balance sheet and support ongoing work at Fiery Creek, Wilan, and Saltwater.
Aruma plans to conduct an initial sampling program at the Wilan Project in the current quarter to delineate Heavy Mineral Sands anomalies, subject to receiving required access approvals. The company also intends to undertake an infill soil sampling program at the Saltwater Project's Tunnel Creek Prospect, ahead of a planned first-phase RC drilling program.
