CurveBeam Ai Ltd (ASX: CVB) has requested an immediate trading halt in its securities, pending the release of an announcement regarding the completion of a material set of contracts (Contracts) with a Chinese partner. The company had previously disclosed the signing of a terms sheet with this Chinese partner in a placement announcement on 29 September 2025. CurveBeam has requested the trading halt to allow it to coordinate the finalisation of the announcement in an orderly manner and to ensure that trading does not take place in an uninformed market. The trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of the company releasing an announcement concerning the outcome of the Contracts or the commencement of trading on Thursday, 30 October 2025. CurveBeam has stated that it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any further information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
