Kingston Resources Ltd has reported a significant step change in its operations during the September 2025 quarter. The company has a strong financial position with $31 million in cash and no debt, and is focused on underground mine preparations and lifting gold and silver production. The processing team made significant improvements by ramping up throughput and bedding down the transition to flotation processing at the Mineral Hill operation. Gold and silver production increased, with gold production up 3% to 2,909oz and silver sales up 64% to 25,039oz. The concentrate flotation plant was successfully commissioned, contributing to a material reduction in all-in-sustaining costs to $2,942/oz in September. Open pit mining progressed at both Pearse North and South, with underground mining preparations well advanced and on track to commence in November. The company is also excited about returning to underground mining at Mineral Hill, with experienced operators recruited and underground fleet procured. Exploration work included pXRF soil sampling and drilling approvals sought for the Bogong Prospect, which will be drilled in the current quarter. The company's financial position was significantly strengthened during the quarter, with the receipt of $49.9 million from the completion of the Misima transaction.
Gold and silver production is forecast to be stronger from November, driven by increased plant throughput and higher grades from Pearse South. The company is on track to meet its FY26 production expectations.
Major developments planned for the December quarter include the arrival of surface and underground drill rigs for exploration, extension and infill drilling, RC drilling of the Bogong Prospect, and the commencement of underground jumbo development at the Southern Ore Zone.
