Nanoveu Strengthens Position as Edge-AI Innovator
- Achieved 60% average flight-time increase for drones using sub-milliwatt AI control
- Advanced 16nm ECS-DoT chip program to synthesis and fabrication stage
- Established U.S. sales network to drive design-ins for ECS-DoT SoC
Nanoveu Limited (ASX: NVU, OTCQB: NNVUF) reported significant advancements in its Edge-AI semiconductor division during the September 2025 quarter. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, EMASS, progressed the next-generation 16nm ECS-DoT Edge-AI SoC to the synthesis and fabrication stage, with tape-out scheduled for Q4 CY25. EMASS also achieved landmark results in its drone efficiency testing, demonstrating an average 60% flight-time extension and up to 85% maximum gains across multiple UAV classes using sub-milliwatt AI control. These results validated the initial phase 1 findings and led to the commencement of live Crazyflie nano-drone trials. To drive market penetration for its ECS-DoT SoC, Nanoveu established a dedicated U.S. sales network, appointing manufacturer representatives across key OEM hubs. The company also announced a collaboration with Arrow Electronics to accelerate the deployment of its ultra-low-power Edge-AI solutions. Nanoveu's other business divisions, EyeFly3D and Nanoshield, continue to support the company's strategic goals, with ongoing trials and customer discussions in their respective markets.
Nanoveu is rapidly advancing its Edge-AI technology roadmap, with plans to complete the 16nm ECS-DoT tape-out, continue live drone testing, expand OEM engagements through its U.S. sales network and Early Access Developer Program, and progress commercial licensing and IP protection of its energy-optimization and AI-flight-control technology.
