Full Summary

Acusensus Limited (ASX:ACE), a technology company designing and developing artificial intelligence-enabled road safety solutions, has announced an expansion to its existing Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution Agreement for speed enforcement services with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). The contract expansion will double the number of trailer-based speed enforcement units that Acusensus provides to TMR. The new trailer units will be progressively deployed from November 2025 and throughout 2026, with each new unit to be utilized for an initial term of five years. The incremental contract value associated with this contract variation is expected to total approximately $16.6 million (excluding GST). Acusensus Founder and Managing Director, Alexander Jannink, stated that the Queensland government's road safety camera program has been very effective at changing driver behaviours, and Acusensus is pleased to support the expansion of this life-saving program. In the first seven months of the safety camera program using Acusensus' transportable speed enforcement solutions, the number of drivers detected excessively speeding declined by 92%. The expansion of this program will result in behaviour change across more of the road network, leading to reduced road casualties.
