Echelon Resources reports Q3 2025 activities
- Reserves upgrades across key Australian assets
- Two new wells drilled at Mahato adding 2,000 barrels per day
- Maari field records highest production in 5 years
Echelon Resources has reported its quarterly activities for the three months ended 30 September 2025. Key highlights include reserves upgrades across the company's key Australian assets, the drilling of two new wells at the Mahato field in Indonesia which added 2,000 barrels per day of production, and the Maari field in New Zealand recording its highest production in over 5 years. The company's total production for the quarter was 414,779 barrels of oil equivalent, a slight decrease of 2.6% due to natural field decline and operational activities, which were offset by an 8% production increase at Maari and Mahato. Echelon also paid a total dividend of A$3.5 million during the quarter, of which A$1.7 million was distributed to Echelon shareholders. The company's cash balance at the end of the quarter was A$33.1 million, down from A$36.8 million in the previous quarter, primarily due to a A$5.0 million debt repayment and dividend payments. Echelon outlined its future activities timeline, including 3D seismic acquisition in the Amadeus Basin, further infill well drilling at Mereenie, and ongoing development drilling at the Mahato PSC. The company also provided updates on its Indonesian and New Zealand assets, including discussions around the Sampang PSC extension and the Maari field permit extension.
