Multiple Titanium-Sulfide Reefs Discovered at Southwest
Key Points
  • Assays confirm discovery of multiple titanium-vanadium-copper-cobalt-platinum group metal (PGM) sulfide reefs at Southwest Prospects
  • Drilling highlights include thick, continuous reef packages up to 58 m thick
  • Increasing evidence of mafic-ultramafic geology, higher sulfide content, and cobalt emerging as a key component
Full Summary

Terra Metals Ltd has announced the discovery of multiple titanium-vanadium-copper-cobalt-platinum group metal (PGM) sulfide reefs at the Southwest Prospect within its Dante Project in Western Australia. Assay results from the first 8 reverse circulation drillholes have confirmed the presence of thick, continuous reef packages, with highlights including 59 m @ 0.95% CuEq from 131 m, 61 m @ 0.70% CuEq from surface, and 58 m @ 0.55% CuEq from 6 m. The Southwest Prospect is a newly defined and highly prospective 12 km² target area, with historical mapping, geochemistry, drilling, and geophysics all supporting the potential for significant new discoveries. The reefs differ from the existing Dante Mineral Resource by exhibiting much thicker mineralized intervals, evidence of mafic-ultramafic geology, higher sulfide content, and increasing cobalt grades. With over 40 additional drillholes pending assay, and visual sulfides observed in recent diamond drilling, the company is focused on systematic follow-up to define the geometry and continuity of these new titanium-sulfide reef systems.

Outlook

The company's focus is now on systematic follow-up drilling to define the geometry and continuity of the newly discovered titanium-sulfide reefs at the Southwest Prospect, which have the potential to significantly expand the scale and diversity of mineralization within the broader Dante project.
