Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX: BTR) has announced the continued strengthening of its operational and leadership capabilities through the appointment of highly experienced mining professionals to key executive roles. The new appointments include John Croall as General Manager Mining, Daniel Jolley as Project Director, and Julie Budrey as Group Health and Safety Manager. These individuals bring extensive experience and proven track records in their respective areas, significantly enhancing Brightstar's ability to advance its Menzies, Laverton and Sandstone gold projects. The Sandstone Pre-Feasibility Study is also progressing, with GR Engineering Services engaged for processing infrastructure design and Independent Metallurgical Operations continuing metallurgical test work. Brightstar and Aurumin Ltd currently have six drilling rigs operating in Sandstone, targeting material Mineral Resource Estimate growth and infill drilling to enable an increase in confidence classification. A Mineral Resource upgrade for Sandstone is targeted for release in the first half of calendar year 2026, with the current Mineral Resource standing at 2.4Moz @ 1.5g/t Au on a pro forma basis with Aurumin.
