Vicinity Centres reported a strong FY25, delivering over $1bn in Statutory Net Profit. Key highlights include the acquisition of a 50% interest in Lakeside Joondalup in Western Australia and the full suite of property management rights, as well as acquiring the residual 49% interest in Chatswood Chase. The company also successfully completed and launched Chadstone's revitalised fresh food precinct, The Market Pavilion, and the new One Middle Road office tower. The second major retail development, the complete reimagination of Chatswood Chase in Sydney, saw the first stage of the reopening launched a fortnight ago. Vicinity also commenced the redevelopment of Galleria in Western Australia, which is expected to be relaunched by Christmas 2026. Funds From Operations (FFO) was $674 million, at the top end of the guidance range, and the Board declared a full-year distribution of 12.0 cents per security. Vicinity's balance sheet remains a source of competitive advantage, with gearing at the lower end of the target range. FY26 has had an encouraging start, driven by the company's ongoing focus on achieving key strategic milestones and delivering enhanced portfolio metrics.
