  • Regional drilling at Victoria Prospect defined extensions to gold mineralisation
Full Summary

Pacgold announced significant gold results from the 2025 drilling program at its Alice River Gold Project in northeast Queensland. The highlight was the first pass shallow aircore drilling at the Kapok Prospect, which returned strong gold mineralisation within a corridor over 50m in width, including 15m at 0.38g/t Au from surface and 15m at 0.25g/t Au from surface. The Kapok Prospect is located in the northern section of the Alice River Fault Zone and is completely untested along strike to date. The drilling demonstrates the continual upside potential of the project as multiple new targets are being delineated. Regional aircore and RC drilling at the Victoria Prospect also defined extensions to the gold mineralisation previously identified in 2024. The 2025 program included a total of 118 RC holes for 12,586m and 434 aircore holes for 4,608m, with results for several other prospects to be reported in due course. The recent drilling continues to strengthen Pacgold's understanding of the Alice River system and adds confidence to what the company believes has the potential to be a major gold discovery.

Outlook

The results of the 2025 drilling program at Victoria and Kapok continue to build the scale of the Alice River Project. The aircore geochemical drilling has now defined Au-As-Sb anomalism on the Alice River Fault Zone over an interpreted strike length in excess of 15km, with considerable scope to define additional gold resources with continued RC drilling in 2026. Follow-up RC drilling is planned at the Kapok Prospect in Q2 2026 after the North Queensland wet season.
