New Slinger Counter-Drone Order (A$20M) and Backlog Update
- New A$20M order for Slinger Counter-Drone Remote Weapon Systems from Western European NATO country
- Order demonstrates EOS' Slinger is a product of choice for kinetic counter-drone systems
- Contract backlog now over A$400M, almost 3 times higher than at end-2024
Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (EOS) has announced that it has secured a new order for its Slinger Counter-Drone Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) amounting to €11.4m or approximately A$20m. The order is with a Western European NATO country and is intended to address urgent operational requirements. Delivery is expected within the next six months, with most of the incremental revenue expected to arise during 2026. This order demonstrates that EOS' flagship Slinger Counter-Drone RWS is a product of choice for kinetic counter-drone weapon systems, as the drone threat to Western European countries has been increasing. In addition to this new order, EOS has previously announced several other new secured orders during 2025, including A$53m for Slinger Counter-Drone RWS, A$125m for High Energy Laser Weapon, A$11m for Space Capability, and A$108m for R400 RWS for LAND 400-3. As a result of these new orders, the unconditional Contract Backlog as at the date of this announcement is over A$400m, which is almost 3 times higher than at 31 December 2024. Based on existing customer requirements and current production schedules, EOS currently expects most of the Contract Backlog to be converted into revenue during 2026 and 2027. In addition to the Contract Backlog of secured orders, EOS has an extensive pipeline of sales opportunities, which it continues to work to convert into signed contracts.
EOS continues to work to convert its extensive pipeline of sales opportunities into signed contracts, though there is no guarantee that any pipeline opportunities will be realised in the form of binding sales contracts.
