Accent Group Ltd Holds FY2025 AGM

Accent Group Ltd held its FY2025 Annual General Meeting, providing an overview of the company's growth journey. The company has demonstrated a track record of retail sales growth, driven by store rollout and new banners, as well as the expansion of its omni-channel capabilities and contactable customer database. Accent Group is focused on driving growth through Distributed Brands and Partnerships, as well as its Apparel and vertical sales growth strategy. The company's financial performance in FY2025 included total owned sales of $1.46 billion, a gross margin of 54.9%, and a net profit after tax of $57.7 million. Accent Group also highlighted its sustainability initiatives, including safety, diversity and inclusion, ethical sourcing, and community partnerships. Operationally, the company opened 54 new stores in FY2025, bringing the total network to 892 stores across Australia and New Zealand, with more than 10 million contactable customers. The company also announced a strategic partnership with Frasers Group to launch the Sports Direct brand in the ANZ market, and continued growth in its Vertical Owned Brands, which now represent around 9% of total owned sales.
FY2026 EBIT is expected to be in the range of $85 million to $95 million, with H1 EBIT expected to be in the range of $55 million to $60 million (inclusive of non-recurring losses) and H2 EBIT expected to be in the range of $30 million to $35 million.
Accent Group plans to continue its growth strategy, with a further 20 new stores (excluding Sports Direct) planned for FY2026. The company will also focus on expanding its Nude Lucy and Stylerunner brands, as well as launching the Sports Direct brand in the ANZ market, with at least 4 stores and an online presence expected to open in FY2026.
