Elixir Energy Ltd (ASX: EXR) has requested a trading halt in its securities, effective from the commencement of trading on Friday, 21 November 2025. The trading halt has been requested pending the release of an announcement by the company with respect to a potential material acquisition of shares in Elixir. The company has stated that the trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of the release of the announcement to the market regarding the transaction, or the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 25 November 2025. Elixir Energy has indicated that it expects the release of the announcement about the acquisition of shares in the company will end the trading halt. The company has confirmed that it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted and that there is no other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt or that the ASX has requested.
