Centaurus Metals has announced that diamond drilling has re-commenced at its highly prospective and recently expanded Boi Novo Copper-Gold Project in the world-class Carajás Mineral Province of northern Brazil. The combined Boi Novo-Rio Novo landholding now covers approximately 75km² of contiguous tenure in this prolific mineral belt. At Boi Novo, the drilling is initially focused on expanding the high-grade copper-gold mineralization already defined at the Nelore West and Nelore East Prospects. Previous drilling has returned impressive results, including 36.7m @ 1.58% Cu and 11.5m @ 2.84% Cu and 0.90g/t Au. Meanwhile, the exploration team has commenced programs across the newly acquired Rio Novo tenure, where more than 65% of the area has never been systematically explored. This will include drone magnetics, FLEM surveys, soil sampling, and mapping, with the aim of generating high-quality targets for a maiden drilling campaign in early 2026. Centaurus is well-funded and remains focused on advancing both the Boi Novo Copper-Gold Project and the Jaguar Nickel Sulphide Project in Brazil.
The Company is well funded and in a strong position to advance its pipeline of high-quality battery and critical metals projects in Brazil. The exploration programs at the expanded Boi Novo Copper-Gold Project, including drilling, EM geophysics, and surface exploration across the new Rio Novo area, will establish a strong pipeline of copper-gold drill targets, positioning the Company for sustained discovery momentum into the new year.
