Theia Grade Control Confirms Geological Interpretation
Key Points
  • High-grade assay results received for final 17 holes of 99-hole in-fill program
  • Program averaged 52.2 gram x metres per hole and 1.93g/t Au across all reported intervals
  • Confirms wide zones of high-grade mineralization within Stage 1 Theia open pit
Full Summary

Astral Resources NL (ASX: AAR) has completed a highly successful 99-hole (11,121m) in-fill reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the Theia Deposit, part of the 100%-owned Mandilla Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The program was designed to de-risk the Theia Stage 1 starter pit by increasing the drill density to 12-metres by 12-metres. Assay results for the final 17 holes (2,018m) have now been received, confirming wide zones of high-grade mineralization within the Stage 1 Theia open pit. Highlights include 21m at 7.13g/t Au, 43m at 2.46g/t Au, 28m at 3.38g/t Au and 33m at 2.21g/t Au. Bonanza grades were also intersected, such as 1m at 184.7g/t Au, 2m at 63.8g/t Au, 1m at 35.0g/t Au, 1m at 28.4g/t Au and 1m at 25.2g/t Au. With all assay results now received, the in-fill program has averaged 52.2 gram x metres across the 99 holes drilled, with an average grade of 1.93g/t Au. This confirms the robustness of the geological interpretation and Mineral Resource Estimate for the Stage 1 Theia open pit. Exploration activities are ongoing at Mandilla and Feysville, with assay results pending for several programs.

Outlook

The RC rig has been re-located from Kamperman to Mandilla to continue testing the recently identified Theia West target. The diamond rig is currently undertaking a program encompassing the drilling of a number of geotechnical holes at Hestia and Eos to support the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study due for completion next year. Exploration activities will cease for a short time over the Christmas break, with drilling scheduled to re-commence the week beginning 5 January 2026.
