More Excellent Drill Results from Tuckanarra (Amended)
- Significant high-grade gold intercepts in fresh rock and oxide mineralisation at the Highway Deposit
- Drilling confirms geological continuity and grade, supporting upgrade of Mineral Resource to Indicated category
- Highway Deposit has potential for open pit mining with deeper exploration upside
Odyssey Gold Ltd has reported further excellent results from the ongoing reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Tuckanarra Gold Project in Western Australia. Significant results were intersected in resource definition holes at the Highway Deposit, including intercepts of up to 19m @ 13.7g/t Au, 14m @ 13.6g/t Au, and 7m @ 16.5g/t Au in fresh rock mineralisation. The drilling also encountered thick oxide mineralisation, with results such as 13m @ 3.3g/t Au and 26m @ 2.3g/t Au. The current intersections align closely with the targeted positions of mineralisation, with grades confirming those predicted by the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The drilling has confirmed the geological interpretation and demonstrates grade continuity, giving confidence for substantial conversion of the MRE to the Indicated category. The Highway Deposit currently has an Inferred MRE of 790kt @ 3.8g/t for 97koz of gold. The open pit resource within the recent mining study is substantially larger than the open pit part of the resource reported in the 2024 MRE, which was limited to oxide material above a 0.9g/t cut-off. Future economic studies will consider underground/open pit optimisation. The Company plans to update the resource estimate following receipt of the remaining assay results and to undertake metallurgical testwork on mineralisation within the current mining proposal.
The current drilling program is intended to confirm historic drilling and infill areas of wide-spaced drilling to upgrade the Highway Deposit to an Indicated Mineral Resource. The Company is also planning flora and fauna surveys in preparation for the submission of an updated native vegetation clearing permit.
