Scotia Underground Depth Extensions Confirmed
- Extensional drilling has confirmed high grade mineralisation up to 135 metres below the current Scotia Indicated Mineral Resource
- Grade control drilling has returned a number of wide high-grade intersections within the current mine plan and in extensions beneath and along strike of the Central and Northern orebodies
- New results include high-grade intercepts up to 113.94 g/t Au
Pantoro Gold has announced successful extensional and grade control drilling results at the Scotia Underground Mine, located approximately 25 km south of Norseman in Western Australia. The drilling program has confirmed high-grade mineralisation up to 135 metres below the current Scotia Indicated Mineral Resource, indicating significant potential for extensions to the current mine plan. Grade control drilling has also returned a number of wide, high-grade intersections within the current mine plan and in extensions beneath and along strike of the Central and Northern orebodies. Key results include 2 m @ 33.65 g/t Au, 1.64 m @ 16.24 g/t Au, 1.8 m @ 23.92 g/t Au, 0.95 m @ 113.94 g/t Au, and 0.3 m @ 93.16 g/t Au from the extensional drilling, as well as 5.65 m @ 11.37 g/t Au, 11.68 m @ 6.38 g/t Au, 3.83 m @ 35.75 g/t Au, and 5.3 m @ 8.53 g/t Au from the grade control drilling. The company states that these results reinforce its confidence in the Scotia geological model and support the view that Scotia is evolving into a long-life, high-grade underground mine that will underpin ore feed at Norseman for many years to come. Extensional drilling will continue alongside grade control programs as Pantoro Gold works to further expand the mine plan and unlock the full scale of the Scotia system.
Pantoro Gold expects to drill approximately 250,000 metres of combined RC, diamond and air core during FY2026 as part of an active growth program to expand its underground mining operations and scale production at the Norseman Gold Project.
