Horizon Minerals Limited (ASX: HRZ) has executed a Land Use Agreement with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Claimant Group. The agreement covers the majority of Horizon's tenure in the eastern goldfields region of Western Australia, overlapping approximately 240 tenements and 90% of the company's land package by area. The agreement sets out protocols for heritage surveys, safeguards for site protection, and streamlined grant of tenure and clearance procedures for Horizon's activities. Horizon and Marlinyu Ghoorlie have agreed to develop and conduct their relationship in the spirit of goodwill, mutual respect and mutual recognition of their respective interests. This landmark agreement reflects Horizon's commitment to working in partnership with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie people and provides a strong framework to protect Aboriginal Cultural Heritage while supporting the responsible advancement of the company's projects across the eastern goldfields.
