 Yuinmery Exploration Update
Key Points
  • New high-grade gold rock chips discovered at Smiths Well, Marcus, and near YT14 prospect
  • Significant 1000m long Cu-Au soil anomaly delineated between YT01 and YT19, coincident with intense talc alteration
  • Surface VMS mineralisation confirmed at B-Zone and C-Zone
Full Summary

Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL) has announced the results of a rock chip sampling program (66 samples) and soil sampling program (78 samples) at the Yuinmery project conducted between August and October 2025. The sampling programs aimed to review the potential for strike extensions or new VMS occurrences around the Just Desserts deposit, generate fresh new copper and/or gold targets, and validate or dismiss new mineralisation models.

The rock chip sampling identified new discoveries of high-grade gold, including 22.86g/t Au and 5.39g/t Au from Smiths Well, 6.66g/t Au from Marcus, and 2.18g/t Au and 3.18g/t Au near the YT14 prospect. Surface VMS mineralisation was also confirmed at B-Zone and C-Zone, with several rock chips returning anomalous copper-gold values.

The soil sampling program delineated a significant 1000m long copper-gold anomaly between the YT01 and YT19 prospects, which is coincident with intense talc alteration identified in satellite imagery. This area is considered highly prospective for further copper-gold mineralisation and will be a focus for follow-up drilling in 2026.

At the Microbe Well prospect, the soil sampling confirmed the location of historic shallow gold mineralisation encountered in RAB drilling, and identified a prospective 600m long gold anomaly for follow-up air core drilling.

Overall, the exploration results have generated several new high-priority targets for Empire to advance at Yuinmery, with a focus on further defining the extent and grade of the copper-gold and gold mineralisation across the project area.

Outlook

Empire is planning follow-up soil sampling programs where required and will lodge Programs of Work to allow new drilling in 2026 to test the newly identified targets.
