EPX Limited (ASX: 'EPX') has announced that it has submitted a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) proposal to acquire Wattwatchers Pty Limited (Administrators Appointed) (WattWatchers). WattWatchers is an Australian entity that provides real-time energy data and monitoring solutions to the commercial and household markets via its proprietary enterprise-grade monitoring hardware and platform. On 23 October 2025, WattWatchers appointed Voluntary Administrators, who sought expressions of interest for the sale of the company and/or business. EPX has submitted a DOCA proposal to acquire WattWatchers, which will be considered by WattWatchers' creditors at a creditor meeting proposed to be held on 15 December 2025.The EPX DOCA proposal contains a cash and ordinary shares consideration, with customary Conditions Precedent for an offer of this nature and involves the acquisition of Wattwatchers by EPX. The proposal specifies the extent to which assets, staff, IP, technology and sales contracts will be retained within Wattwatchers if creditors approve the DOCA proposal.This transaction is not certain and is subject to the consideration of WattWatchers' creditors. Once the outcome of the upcoming creditors meeting is known, EPX will update shareholders.
