BOLT CUTTER CENTRAL LITHIUM DISCOVERY EXPANDS
- Mineralisation intercepted over 1.4km in north-west and 800m in north-east directions
- Pegmatites remain open in most directions with a stacked, repeating system
- Further high-grade assays up to 1.84% Li2O returned
- Harry and Hermione Pegmatite Swarms are part of a larger interconnected system
Australian lithium explorer and developer Wildcat Resources Limited (ASX: WC8) is pleased to announce results growing its Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery, located ~10km west of its Tabba Tabba Lithium-Tantalum Project, WA. The scale of the discovery has grown to over 1,400m in a north-westerly orientation and over 800m in a north-easterly orientation, with mineralisation remaining open in almost all directions. While the initial exploration was designed to quickly identify the edges of the system with a wide spaced (150 x 150m) reconnaissance approach, 17 of the 20 holes received during the period have returned significant intercepts, indicating a broad, flatly dipping, stacked pegmatite system. Best individual intercepts include 9.0m @ 1.84% Li2O, 9.0m @ 1.68% Li2O, 5.0m @ 1.5% Li2O, and 7.0m @ 1.03% Li2O. Drilling also indicates the Harry and Hermione Pegmatite Swarms are part of a larger, interconnected pegmatite system. The RC reconnaissance program is now complete, and a diamond drill rig is planned to commence testing the priority exploration area from January 2026 to rapidly expand the scale of the discovery and collect material for phase 1 metallurgical test work.
Wildcat plans to commence diamond drilling in January 2026 to continue testing and expanding the Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery, as well as begin the first phase of long lead-time studies, including initial metallurgical testwork.
