Aurora Labs Limited ('A3D' or 'the Company') has received a maiden purchase order from Sovereign Propulsion Systems (SPS), valued at $250,000 for the supply of 20 AU4 propulsion systems. The order marks the commencement of a multi-phase integration and deployment program between Aurora and SPS, as both parties advance collaboration opportunities to grow propulsion capabilities in the Australian market with a specific focus on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturers, as well as local and international Defence Primes. The AU4 propulsion engines will be deployed to support field testing, where real flight and performance data will be gathered and provided to the Company. This information is expected to provide valuable insight into the Company's near-term development pathway, enabling product refinement opportunities, enhanced reliability and real-world case studies to prospective and existing customers. Following delivery, the AU4 system will be utilised as a core testing product in aerial testing of unmanned aerial vehicles at SPS's flight test facilities. Access to SPS's flight operations capability is expected to significantly accelerate Aurora's propulsion development roadmap, allowing the Company to demonstrate the reliability required for broader commercial and defence market engagement. The purchase order highlights the commencement of A3D's sovereign platform-agnostic commercialisation initiatives, which will enable the innovative propulsion system to be integrated across a wide range of drones and loitering-munition platforms and to support adoption by multiple end users.
Working alongside SPS enables Aurora to gather real flight data, strengthen product reliability, and accelerate customer validation -- all of which are critical steps toward unlocking larger, recurring demand.
