Further High-Grade Uranium Mineralisation Intersected At Manyingee North
- More outstanding drill results received from final 11 drillholes at Manyingee North
- Mineralisation extends over 1,400m in width, 700m along strike, and remains open in all directions
- Airborne geophysics indicates the palaeochannel continues northwards for 7km within Cauldron's tenements
Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) has completed a further 11 air-core drillholes (25YRAC046-056) at its Manyingee North prospect, located approximately 8km northeast of the Manyingee South deposit and 2.5km northeast of Paladin's Manyingee Deposit. This brings the total 2025 drilling program at Manyingee North to 23 drillholes for 2,953m. Uranium mineralisation above the 150ppm cutoff-grade has been intersected in all 23 holes, extending over 1,400m in width (east-west) and 700m along strike (north-south), with the mineralisation remaining open in all directions. Cauldron's airborne geophysical survey data indicates that the Manyingee North palaeochannel continues northwards for a further ~7 kilometres within the company's tenements, and future exploration drilling is being planned. Significant results from the recent drilling include 4.53m @ 1,280.2ppm eU3O8, 4.33m @ 330.8ppm eU3O8, and 2.44m @ 386.0ppm eU3O8. The mineralisation is hosted within a largely unexplored northeast trending branch of the Manyingee Palaeochannel, and unlike the Manyingee South deposit, does not display the typical bright yellow to orange colours associated with oxidised, mineralised sands. Cauldron's CEO Jonathan Fisher commented that the company is very excited by the results from Manyingee North, which have proven another new discovery at the Yanrey project, and that the potential to extend the mineralisation significantly is indicated by the geophysical data.
Cauldron is planning further exploration drilling at the Manyingee North prospect in the next field season, as it continues to build its uranium mineral resource base at the Yanrey project.
