Follow Up Drilling Completed at Beatty Park Sth
- Drilling 30m southeast of high-grade gold intercepts intersected best results of 4m at 1.18g/t Au and 4m at 3.55g/t Au
- Drilling confirmed extensive alteration related to shear-hosted gold mineralising systems
- High-resolution geophysical survey will assist interpretation of geological and structural setting
Tambourah Metals has completed follow-up aircore drilling over the Beatty Park South gold-in-soil anomaly, part of the company's 467 sq km Bryah Gold Project in Western Australia. The drilling program comprised 88 holes for approximately 3,300m, targeting the area southeast of the previously reported high-grade gold intersections in BPAC016 and BPAC028. The drilling has outlined a significant gold anomaly extending over 330m, with a high-grade 'core' around the discovery holes. Drilling 30m to the southeast of BPAC028 (24m at 18.8g/t Au) intersected further mineralised intervals, including 4m at 1.18g/t Au from 32m in BPAC059 and 4m at 3.55g/t Au from 4m in adjacent hole BPAC060. These intercepts are offset from the anticipated strike continuation of the high-grade drill results. The drilling has confirmed extensive alteration comprising quartz-ankerite-chlorite-sericite-garnet, consistent with hydrothermal alteration related to shear-hosted gold mineralising systems. A recently completed high-resolution SAM geophysical survey is currently being processed and will provide critical information to assist interpretation of the underlying geological and structural setting of the Beatty Park South drill intercepts and define future bedrock drill targets.Tambourah is planning an initial RC drilling program at Beatty Park South, with POW approval in place and a program of planned activity submitted to traditional owners for heritage review.
