Highest Gold Results Received at Banshee Antimony Mine
- Highlight assays from CBADD002 include the highest single assay for gold at the Banshee antimony mine to date
- Broader gold zones containing antimony mineralised zones
- Thick gold mineralised hydrothermal breccia at the base of CBADD002 points to the possibility of a significant gold rich system
Dart Mining NL (ASX:DTM) has announced the assays of drill hole CBADD002 received from the Coonambula antimony (Sb) gold (Au) project near Eidsvold in Central Queensland. Highlight assays from CBADD002 include the highest single assay for gold at the Banshee antimony mine to date as well as several antimony intersections. The assays confirm observations down dip (and ~70m along section) from CBADD001 that the broader gold mineralisation contains a highly mineralised Stibnite zone. CBADD002 has returned the highest gold assay result at the Banshee antimony mine to date with 0.5m @ 18.30 g/t Au from 184.5m. Previously, the highest drill assay for gold was 1m @ 14.45 g/t Au from 18m (CNRC05). The thick gold mineralised hydrothermal breccia at the base of CBADD002 points to the possibility of a significant gold rich system. Dart Mining and its JV partner, Great Divide Mining, will progress farm-in exploration at Coonambula including completing and interpreting IP Survey results, reporting diamond drilling assay results, continuing to drill and test the Banshee Antimony and Gold mineralisation trend, refining the drill plan based on IP Survey results, and developing a 3D model and declaring a JORC resource at the earliest possible opportunity.
