Mount Burgess Mining NL (ASX: MTB) has provided an update on its corporate activities and exploration on its 100% owned Western Australian gold projects. The company has successfully completed its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Viking Gold Project, located 30km southeast of Norseman in Western Australia. Assay results from the 10-hole program are expected in mid-January 2026. The company has also received Program of Works (PoW) approval for exploration drilling at the Blair North project, and plans are well-advanced for RC drilling to commence in Q1 2026. At the company's recent AGM, shareholders approved the change in the company's name to Talonx Resources Limited (with the ASX ticker code TXR). The company anticipates the changes will come into effect in early-mid January 2026.
The company looks forward to sharing the results of the Viking drilling program early next year under its new name, Talonx Resources Limited.
