KNB hits more visible gold at Enmore Gold Project, NSW
- Visible gold intersected in two new deeper drill holes, confirming a robust gold system continuing at depth
- Alteration zone extended ~180m vertically underneath previous high-grade intercept and remains open at depth
- Drilling program of 15 RC holes testing 2km shear zone to east of Sunnyside also completed
Koonenberry Gold (ASX:KNB) has intersected visible gold in the fourth and fifth drill holes of its 10,000m Phase II diamond drilling program at the Enmore Gold Project in northeast NSW. The new holes were designed to test the up-dip and down-dip continuity of previous high-grade intercepts. Both holes intersected visible gold in multiple locations, confirming the robust nature of the gold system and its continuation at depth. The alteration zone was also extended approximately 180m vertically underneath the previous high-grade intercept and remains open at depth. In addition to the diamond drilling, Koonenberry Gold has completed a 15-hole RC drilling program testing a 2km shear zone to the east of the Sunnyside Prospect. Results from this program are expected in January. The company remains well-funded to continue its aggressive exploration strategy across its portfolio of highly prospective gold and copper projects in New South Wales.
Koonenberry Gold will continue its diamond drilling program at the Enmore Gold Project in early 2026, systematically testing for extensions to the Sunnyside gold system at depth and along strike as part of the fully funded 10,000m program. The company also plans to report results from the recently completed RC drilling program testing the 2km shear zone to the east of Sunnyside in January.
