HITIQ Limited (ASX: HIQ) has signed a category-exclusive partnership with Sportscover to integrate PROTEQT, HITIQ's concussion management system, into Sportscover's Sports Insurance offering. Under the agreement, Sportscover will be designated HITIQ's Preferred Insurance Partner - Sports Insurance, with exclusive rights in the Sports Insurance category. The partnership introduces a first-of-its-kind claims-triggered cover feature: when a concussion claim is lodged and confirmed under a Sportscover policy, Sportscover will fund a PROTEQT unit for the insured member. HITIQ will fulfil the product directly to claimants via a dedicated Sportscover landing page, enabling seamless access. The collaboration will commence with Hockey Australia channels and is intended to extend across Sportscover's broader sports insurance portfolio over time. The parties will also undertake a Year-1 data collaboration using de-identified, aggregated impact data to enhance underwriting insight and player-safety initiatives. Management believes the partnership positions Sportscover as the only Sports Insurance provider actively supporting community clubs with professional-grade concussion management and strengthens HITIQ's consumer go-to-market through established insurance distribution.

The model is designed to improve the concussion claims journey, encourage safer return-to-play pathways and provide athletes with meaningful support at the moment they need it most. The partnership is expected to be a meaningful differentiator for Sportscover and a scalable pathway for HITIQ to reach grassroots sport.
