Caprice Resources Ltd (ASX: CRS) has completed the acquisition of the Comet Exploration Project, a highly prospective exploration asset located within the Murchison Goldfields of Western Australia. The acquisition materially expands Caprice's footprint at the Island Gold Project (IGP), tripling the Company's contiguous landholding to more than 50 strike-kilometres of a highly endowed greenstone hosted gold corridor. The Comet Project is a direct geological analogue to the Island Gold Project, with mineralization hosted within Silicified Iron Formation (SIF) units, the same host rocks that support mineralization at the IGP and nearby multi-million-ounce gold deposits. The acquisition adds three granted exploration tenements covering an area of approximately 68 km2, consolidating Caprice's exposure to a proven gold-bearing geological setting within a 30 km radius of several operating mines and processing facilities. Importantly, the Comet Project has delivered multiple historical high-grade drill intercepts, providing a clear pathway to near-term value creation through systematic exploration. Caprice plans to commence drilling of the most advanced targets across the combined IGP and Comet tenure in mid-CY2026, following validation and prioritization of the expanded project area.
