RPMGlobal Holdings Limited (ASX: RUL) has announced that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has confirmed it will not oppose the proposed acquisition of RPM by Caterpillar Inc. through a scheme of arrangement. This satisfies the ACCC Condition Precedent in the Scheme Implementation Deed. The proposed scheme remains subject to a number of other conditions, including approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB), receipt of the requisite approval from RPM shareholders at the upcoming Scheme Meeting, and the Federal Court of Australia's approval.
