Regis Healthcare Limited (ASX: REG) has announced that Dr Linda Mellors has resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) after more than six years in the role. Mellors has decided to pursue a career opportunity in an unrelated sector. She will continue in her current role while the Board undertakes a process to ensure a smooth transition of executive responsibilities. Regis' Chairman Graham Hodges has thanked Mellors for her outstanding leadership and commitment to Regis and the aged care sector more broadly. During her tenure, Mellors has guided the company through a period of significant transformation and growth, including navigating the challenges of the Royal Commission into Aged Care, the COVID pandemic, and the more recent reforms associated with the new Aged Care Act. Her leadership has delivered significant growth in the business, along with important investments in people, processes, and systems to maintain Regis' focus on high-quality care. Regis is now in a strong financial and operating position, with a capable and experienced executive team. An executive search process will commence to appoint a new CEO.
