Blackstone Minerals Limited (ASX: BSX) has announced that Mr. Scott Williamson, the company's Managing Director, has resigned from his role, with his cessation date being 31 January 2026. The Board has expressed its gratitude for Mr. Williamson's contribution to the company during his tenure and wishes him well in his future endeavors. To ensure continuity of leadership, the Board has appointed current Non-Executive Director, Mr. Geoff Gilmour, to act as Executive Chairman, effective immediately. Mr. Gilmour will perform an executive leadership role while the Board undertakes a process to identify and appoint a replacement Chief Executive Officer and/or Managing Director.Additionally, the company is pleased to announce that Mr. Greg Cunnold has agreed to join the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Mr. Cunnold, previously a director of IDM, is a geologist with experience and knowledge of the Mankayan Copper-Gold Project in the Philippines. His appointment is expected to strengthen the Board's technical capability through this transition period.The Board has stated that it will keep shareholders informed of further developments in relation to the appointment of a permanent Chief Executive Officer and/or Managing Director.
