29Metals Limited has requested a trading halt on its shares (ASX: 29M) pending an announcement related to a proposed equity capital raising. The company has requested the trading halt in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1. 29Metals states that the trading halt is necessary as it expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a proposed equity capital raising comprising an accelerated non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer. The trading halt will continue until the earlier of 29Metals releasing an announcement to the ASX in relation to the outcome of the institutional component of the entitlement offer, or the commencement of trading on Thursday, 22 January 2026. 29Metals is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor is it aware of any other information available at this stage that is necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
