FY26 Second Quarter Activities Report
- Western Flank and Cooper Basin production up 5% and 12% respectively on flood recovery effort
- Waitsia Gas Plant online with production ramp-up underway, achieving first gas export milestone
- Cooper Basin and Equinox rig campaigns progressing with successful drilling results
Beach Energy's quarterly production decreased 9% to 4.5 MMboe, primarily due to lower customer nominations and planned maintenance in the Otway Basin. However, the company saw a 5% increase in Western Flank production and a 12% increase in Cooper Basin production, driven by successful flood recovery efforts. The Waitsia Gas Plant achieved the critical Ready For Start Up milestone in November 2025 and delivered first sales gas on 6 December, with ramp-up activities progressing. The company's Cooper Basin and Equinox rig campaigns also continued, with three successful oil wells drilled in the Western Flank and a gas discovery made at the Purraroo 1 well in the Cooper Basin. Beach ended the quarter with $925 million in available liquidity, driven by positive quarterly cash flow generation and a new $300 million term facility. The company's FY26 half-year results will be released on 5 February 2026.
