Long Term Suspended Entities on ASX
- List of entities suspended for over 3 months
- Deadline dates to lodge outstanding reports or resume trading
- Entities that miss deadlines will be removed from ASX official list
ASX has published a list of entities that have been suspended from trading for more than three months. The announcement provides details on the name and ASX code of each long-term suspended entity, the periodic reports they have failed to lodge, and the deadlines they face to either lodge the outstanding reports or execute plans to resume trading. If an entity does not meet the 1-year deadline to lodge the oldest outstanding periodic report or the 2-year deadline to resume trading, it will be removed from the official list, usually effective from the open of trading on the first trading day after the deadline date. ASX notes that reinstatement of securities is not automatic, and ASX must be satisfied that the reasons for the suspension have been addressed and the entity complies with the Listing Rules at the point of reinstatement. Long-term suspended entities are encouraged to engage with their Listings Adviser about their plans to seek reinstatement.
