Lindian Resources Limited (ASX: LIN) has announced the launch of Project Early Learning at Kangankunde Primary School in Malawi, a government and community-based initiative designed to support access to safe, inclusive and supportive early education. The initiative was formally launched during a School Open Day attended by Lindian's executives, the Minister of Education, and other government and community representatives. Project Early Learning will directly benefit approximately 400 learners currently enrolled at the school. Under the program, Lindian will rebuild the existing school infrastructure, including new classroom blocks, administration office, gender-segregated toilet blocks, water and sanitation improvements, and sports fields. Additionally, every learner will be provided with uniforms, shoes, books and stationery to support full participation in early learning. The project has been developed in partnership with the Government of Malawi and the local community, reflecting Lindian's long-term commitment to the Kangankunde region. The company aims to ensure the benefits of the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project are shared with the local community from the earliest stages of development, building local capability and supporting sustainable development outcomes.

Lindian's objective is that the children learning at Kangankunde today will have greater opportunities in the future, including pathways into employment at the mine and within the local businesses and industries supported by the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project. To support this, Lindian will facilitate career awareness initiatives, teacher development programs and improved access to basic STEM resources over time.
