AML3D Reports Quarterly Activities and Cash Flow
- $2.3 million in customer receipts, up 360% YoY
- $16.5 million in orders secured for FY26
- $4.5 million order from largest US shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries
AML3D Limited, a leader in large scale Wire Additive Manufacturing (WAM) technology and 3D metal printing solutions, reported its Quarterly Activities Report and Appendix 4C for the quarter ended 31 December 2025. Key highlights include a 360% increase in customer receipts to A$2.3 million, A$16.5 million in orders secured for the current financial year, and a A$4.5 million order from Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), the largest military shipbuilder in the USA. The company's US scale-up strategy, driven by strong demand from the US defence sector, has been a key contributor to these results. AML3D also made progress in the UK and European defence markets, signing a A$1.2 million material feasibility and test block program with BAE Systems UK. The company continues to invest in R&D to enhance its proprietary ARCEMY technology, including a A$0.4 million investment in the Advanced/Increased Deposition Rate (ADIR) project during the quarter. AML3D's Australian facilities are providing additional capacity to support the US scale-up and UK defence contracts, and the company has been classified by Austrade as one of the largest exporters under AUKUS. The company remains in a strong financial position with A$29.2 million in cash at the end of the quarter, enabling it to fund its planned investments in expanding US and European manufacturing capabilities.
AML3D already has A$16.5 million of orders in hand for the 2026 financial year and is extremely confident the 'US Scale Up' strategy, flexible operating model and strong US advocacy will drive multiple additional ARCEMY Systems orders in the US during FY26. The US Navy Letter of Intent has identified the need to install up to 100 new ARCEMY systems over time to drive an acceleration of the US Navy's Maritime Industrial Base manufacturing.
In addition to the significant US defence opportunity, AML3D expects its entry into the UK defence market, at the emergence of strong demand across the UK and European defence sectors, will support mid-term growth. Expansion into additional sectors such as Utilities, Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Marine will also be a key driver of AML3D's strategy to create additional, medium-term, growth opportunities.
