Nanoveu Builds Momentum in Edge-AI as ECS-DoT Advances Toward Commercial Readiness
- 16nm ECS-DoT development timeline advanced with key milestones completed
- Live drone testing progressed, with initial results expected in Q1 CY2026
- Collaboration with Arrow Electronics and Semtech to integrate ECS-DoT SoC
Nanoveu's wholly owned subsidiary EMASS advanced design validation, power optimization and system integration activities for its next-generation 16nm ECS-DoT edge-AI system-on-chip during the quarter. These efforts culminated in the completion of front-end design, synthesis and physical design, with tape-out and fabrication at TSMC commencing in January 2026. EMASS also progressed live drone testing programs, building on previously announced simulation results demonstrating material drone flight-time extensions. The company entered into collaborations with Arrow Electronics and Semtech to accelerate the deployment of ECS-DoT solutions. EMASS continued to deepen engagement with strategic technology and distribution partners to support customer evaluation, expand reference designs and enable scalable deployment of ECS-DoT. Subsequent to the quarter, EMASS received the 'Best in Show' award for AI & Machine Learning at CES 2026, providing third-party validation of the technology. The company also announced the completion of tape-out for the 16nm ECS-DoT SoC, marking a key milestone as the program transitions from design into production silicon. Looking ahead, Nanoveu remains focused on executing live drone flight trials, expanding OEM and partner engagement, advancing commercial licensing and reference designs, and maintaining disciplined capital management.
Subsequent to the quarter, Nanoveu secured A$7.5 million (before costs) through an upsized strategic placement to fund the commercialization and scale-up of EMASS's edge-AI semiconductor platform, including the 16nm ECS-DoT program, live drone validation and go-to-market activities.
Nanoveu remains focused on executing live drone flight trials to validate prior simulation results, expanding OEM and partner engagement, advancing commercial licensing and reference designs, and maintaining disciplined capital management as it transitions toward manufacturing readiness and commercial deployment of its ECS-DoT edge-AI platform.
