Northern Minerals Limited (ASX: NTU) has received notices, pursuant to sections 203D and 249D of the Corporations Act 2001, from Vastness Investment Group Limited, a shareholder with greater than 5% of the shares in the Company. Vastness has requested that the Company convene a general meeting to consider a resolution to remove director Adam Neil Charles Handley. Under the Corporations Act, the directors are required to call the meeting within 21 days and hold it within two months of receiving the request. Northern Minerals is currently considering the notices. The company notes that Resolution 2 proposed for its 2025 AGM is for the re-election of Mr Handley, which is similar in substance to the Vastness resolution.
