- 18,900m Mineral Resources Estimate (MRE) upgrade drilling completed at Tunkillia Gold Project, with high-grade assays
- Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) underway for 'Stage 1' Central Gawler Mill production, targeting start of works by end of 2026
- Tolmer diamond drilling confirms local structural model, planning underway for follow-up drilling in 'western silver zone'
Barton Gold Holdings Ltd (Barton or the Company) reported a productive December 2025 quarter, with significant progress across its key projects. At the Tunkillia Gold Project, the Company completed 18,900m of 'Phase 1' MRE upgrade drilling, returning numerous shallow high-grade assays throughout the S1 and S2 optimised pit areas. These results are expected to further enhance Tunkillia's development profile, which previously outlined an initial 365koz gold and 923koz silver production over the first ~27 months. At the Challenger Gold Project and Central Gawler Mill (CGM), Barton is progressing a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) to evaluate a phased restart of Challenger production, targeting the start of 'Stage 1' works by the end of 2026. This includes geotechnical drilling on Tailings Storage Facility 1 and a high-resolution gravity survey over the northern portion of the Challenger tenements. At the Tarcoola Gold Project, diamond drilling at the Tolmer prospect confirmed key elements of the local structural model, which will now guide follow-up drilling to target growth of the 'western silver zone' where recent drilling has identified high-grade silver and gold mineralization. Barton also completed the acquisition of the Wudinna Gold Project during the quarter, adding to its South Australian JORC Gold Mineral Resources which now total 2.14Moz Au. On the corporate front, Barton raised $15 million through a value-accretive institutional placement and a $660,000 Share Purchase Plan, further strengthening its balance sheet to support its development plans.
Barton is targeting completion of the Central Gawler Mill DFS by the end of June 2026, and the start of initial 'Stage 1' works by the end of 2026. The Company also plans to commence follow-up drilling at the Tolmer prospect's 'western silver zone' in the near future.
