Greenwing Releases Updated Strategy for Que River
- Strategy to consider two-stage development with Stage 1 focused on re-commencing mining
- Assessing potential for Que River to host digital infrastructure
- Que River benefits from existing infrastructure and ideal cool-climate environment
Greenwing Resources Ltd (ASX: GW1) has provided an update on its Que River asset, outlining a two-stage development strategy. Stage 1 will focus on the re-commencement of mining the polymetallic orebody, with a recent scoping study highlighting the potential for a low-cost pathway to cash flow. In parallel, the company is assessing the suitability of the Que River site for hosting digital infrastructure, including data centres. Que River benefits from existing infrastructure, including a 30MW substation, 200ML of water, and an ideal cool-climate environment, making it well-suited for data centre development. Greenwing has held preliminary discussions with potential strategic and development partners regarding the data infrastructure opportunities. The company has communicated its strategy to the relevant Tasmanian Government departments and intends to progress the project in conjunction with third-party partners, subject to further technical, commercial, and regulatory assessment.
