Elixir Provides Lorelle-3 Drilling Update

Elixir Energy Limited has provided an operational update on the Lorelle-3 appraisal drilling campaign in ATP2056 within Queensland's Taroom Trough. The company successfully drilled the 17-1/2' top hole and cased and cemented the 13-3/8' casing in place at a measured depth below rotary table (MDRT) of 682m. Subsequently, Lorelle-3 has been drilled ahead in 12-1/4' hole in the intermediate section to a section final depth of 2,320m. 9-5/8' casing is currently being run into the intermediate hole section which will be cemented in place. At the conclusion of intermediate casing operations, Elixir will run in and commence drilling the reservoir section of Lorelle-3 with LWD (logging while drilling) tools on the drill string, with a view to reaching and identifying the primary target (the Dunk member of the Tinowon Sandstone) before pulling out the drilling assembly and then commencing coring operations. Post coring operations, the drilling assembly will be run back into the hole, and the Lorelle-3 pilot will be drilled to final target depth before the running of wireline logs. The data and core gathered from the expanded evaluation campaign will then lead into a series of experiments and laboratory work that will support the design and execution of an optimal stimulation. Elixir then intends to execute a multi-stage fracture stimulation and production test at Lorelle-3 prior to June 2026.
Lorelle-3 will be one of the highest impact wells in the Taroom Trough in 2026 as it is being drilled and tested ~10km from the best penetration of the Taroom Trough's Tinowon 'Dunk' Sands, in Shell's Dunk-1 well. Lorelle-3 will be the first well outside of the Shell acreage drilled on the upper western flank of the Taroom Trough and has the opportunity to validate the value, quality and materiality of Elixir's substantial Taroom Trough acreage position.
